Regardless of what happened or didn't happen at #Sentebale there is good evidence now that #royal patronage does not help charitable organisations to raise extra money - except when the work of the charity is in the interest of the toff in question or when it is physically located near to (one of ) their house(s). #Philanthropy is at best a tax dodge and at worst maintains the power imbalance that keeps us in serfdom to a wealthy elite.
