"He was very very hostile, and I think needlessly hostile it seems to me, to the idea of the saint, and so he wrote ferociously, it seems to me libellously, about #Tolstoy after his conversion to orthodoxy, and also about #Ghandi, saying that saints should be judged as guilty until otherwise proven innocent."
