I'm baffled by this "solution." I wonder how many DB practitioners would leave established tools like Liquibase, Flyway, Sqitch, Alembic, or SqlDBM to define their schemas in K8s.

Why should a DB object be a first-degree citizen in k8s? Would you want a DB object definition to be a first-degree citizen in (e.g.) Linux?!
