ð Most of the landscaping in the #ScamnumArdenti is stuff I scavenged: snail pot, sharks, pavers, etc.
The boxes should fit perfectly into butchered corners, and will contain bamboo. I'm leaning towards a mix of black, red, and yellow bamboos.
The rose, and the corner, will have to be dealt with, as well.
I'm planning on picking up a set of jiffy pots, and rooting hormone, clone 4 or 5 daughters, ready them over winter, and arch trellis come springtime: a gateway to the shark pool.
Bamboo into jiffy pots, too. The gap in the corner along the neighbors will be the first to get bamboo, in about 3 weeks. I'll clone more bamboo once it "takes."
I'm hoping for everything to be well under way by Summer Soltice 2025.
ð So. I found an ad in the giveaways, for a transportable amount of clean gravel, in a size and color to match what's in the #ScamnumArdenti.
Contact has been made, and I suddenly have plans for this afternoon. #TheKraken waves it's tentacles in excited anticipation.
It started raining, so I tarped up the bench.
I'd done some more snippery around the inside, and cleared more space, so the tarp now sits kinda like a circus tent, with access points on both ends.
More cleanup snippery is planned for the morrow.
ðī Bamboo plants as a sight screen is in the planning stages.
Wets are supposed to be intermittent all night, but taper off just as the recycling center opens.
The Morning Glory/Bindweed is slowly making its way along the guides.
It looks scraggly now, but I expect a "lush green wall" by the time my birthday rolls around at the end of November.
Wets are promised "soon," so that'll definitely help.

I got some big chunks out that were hindering the bench placement. Although it's hard to tell, that one stump made enough room to swing a cat.
Tomorrow I get to go to the recycling center.
