Bryn JonesPopular astronomy: the planets Venus and Saturn will appear very close together in the evening sky tonight. They will be visible a little above the horizon in the dusk twilight.
Venus will be easily visible to the naked eye as the sky darkens, but binoculars may be needed to see Saturn. For me, far into the northern hemisphere, they would be visible just above the southwestern horizon, except that the sky will be cloudy.
