Samantha Fish ist meine absolute Lieblingsmusikerin und sie schafft etwas was nur wenige MusikerInnen und Bands für mich schaffen. Mir gefällt nicht nur jedes einzelne ihrer Alben, mir gefällt sogar jedes neue noch besser als die Vorgängeralben. Und das ist etwas was bisher nur sehr wenige bei mir geschafft haben. Normalerweise gefallen mir die ersten zwei/drei Alben und wenn es die Band/MusikerIn dann noch gibt werden sie für meinen Geschmack meist zu mainstramig poppig überproduziert und krampfhaft auf Erfolg/Verkauf getrimmt. Nicht so bei Samantha Fish, die Alben unterscheiden sich zwar zum Teil deutlich, aber alle sind gut und ich habe das Gefühl ihr kommt es wirklich auf die Musik an und sie macht was sie möchte und lässt sich von niemandem dazwischen reden.
