Burkely HermannA bit of a sad day, perhaps. While people call to #abolishICE (see banner in image 1) and promote queerness (see image 4), the groundbreaking series, #sheraandtheprincessesofpower, otherwise known as #spop or She-Ra reboot/revival, is off Netflix, neeted by them. I watched the final episode for the last time last night, and the third image is what it looked like late last night, and the second is what it looked like today (the page for it is nowhere to be found). I fondly watched that animated series when it originally came out, from November 2018 to May 2020, and have a little hope it will again stream somewhere at some point (maybe Peacock?), but seasons 4 and 5 have effectively become #lostmedia as only seasons 1-3 had an official physical media release. Even so, the fandom goes on, as does efforts to promote queerness (the flag in image 4 is what I saw in my walk yesterday), so that is a positive.

HeartkeyOn a separate but kind of related note to my most recent post, Entrapta from SPOP has been genuinely good for me.
Thinking of "What Would Entrapta Do" has literally helped me move past moments I'd normally ruminate on to a self-destructive level. Her ability to simply be herself, do her own thing, and find joy in it so frequently, is something that (after a lot of work) I've been able to start emulating more. Joy over shame.
Even if only a bit for now.

I love this moment in season 5. It's done so well, and it's another reason I really love Entrapta as a character. Because this is the exact kind of stuff I encounter every few days, even (unfortunately) with my partner. I'm trying to make things work, and I think we're having a good time, and as it turns out I've actually stuffed something up and made people annoyed/mad/whatever and it's only when people have blown up at me do I even realise I did something wrong.
Writing this in the aftermath of one of those very same moments.
I love my canonically autistic tech princess, and I'll aspire to work on things more...
