Anna-SageA lot of folks up to 1,8k rating on lichess don't understand how rooks work.
When you move a rook to double up on a file, it's a commitment. You're saying "I'm going to open up this file and all hell is going to break loose". Otherwise they're just gonna look silly and 10 points worth of material will be wasted. And for Gods' sake. when you start that manoeuvre, finish it, or at least move the rook back.
Don't leave both rooks exposed like that.
