(Mick’s) Great Granduncle John 'Jack' Jamison was born in 1877 in Doagh, Belfast and fought in #WW1

John left for Canada in Nov 1907 to join his brother Tom who had already emigrated there.

On 4th January 1915 he joined the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force.
He was posted missing, presumed dead in Ypres June 2-5, 1916.

The family hoped that Jack would be found wandering in Europe, having lost his memory. His pic remained on the sideboard in Belfast for many years. #RemebranceSunday
