#ReadingRetrospective

- goal: 69 books (nice)
- actual: 60 books
- things that helped: I read so many GOOD books this year
- things that hurt: I only read one book in April because I hyperfocused on baseball
- favourite read: The Shadow of the Leviathan series by Robert Jackson Bennet, and The Witch Roads by Kate Elliott, and The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty (do you see what I mean about so many good books?????)

I'm keeping my 69 book goal for 2026 :D

And here we are, my month-long retrospective endeavor has reached its end. I hope you enjoy it

#ReadingRetrospective

- goal: 69 books (nice)
- actual: 63 books
- things that helped: lots of things required escapism this year
- things that hurt: sometimes the things requiring escape were too strong for mere reading
- favourite read: probably the Locked Tomb series, but Saint Death's Daughter is a serious end-of-year contender

I'm keeping my 69 book goal for 2024

#ReadingRetrospective

- goal: 69 books (nice)
- actual: 61 books
- things that helped: getting laid off lol, a big series that removed a lot of "what to read next?" decisions
- things that hurt: stress, TotK, committing too long to a great book that just wasn't jiving (Hild, I'm sorry it's not you it's me)
- favourite read: A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers

I'm keeping my 69 book goal for 2024. I'd like to read more non-fiction, but I'm not holding myself to a particular #
