I decided to try to catch up with how buddhism caught on in the late sixties, and got hold of "Be Here Now" by Ram Dass, a best seller back in the day.
It was an interesting read. The biographical part made me wonder about what a serious junkie he used to be! Some sort of religion was probably a good thing for him!
I liked the idea of Be Here Now, of really being here and in the now. Living a life of endless love and compassion in the now is good, all buddhism aside!
