I’m very interested in the PWA talk. While the Hotwire Native work is super quick to get started with, I need to investigate PWA - maybe it will provide what I’m looking for without the “native” hurdle.

Really wish I could have snagged a ticket to the conference. This is one of the more exciting releases in a while.
I like how defaulting to Solid Queue and Solid Cache is moving us towards a simpler setup. Not needing #redis by default should make it more approachable for beginners and hobbyists.
DHH hammers on the idea that Ruby and Rails are opt-in; they are opinionated but everybody’s free not to use them if they don’t like their opinions.
Which I agree 100% with, and I believe that a lot of the tensions I’ve witnessed in the past years steamed from that. Because the popularity of Rails attracted a lot of people who don’t really enjoy Ruby and Rails, but felt compelled to use them because that’s where the jobs and money was.
