By luck rather than design, @museuminabox moved from #Rails to #Django many years back.

I have *no* time to do this, but serious question, who would actually be up for using or helping with a community-driven hard fork of #Rails? I doubt the #RailsFoundation will do anything, TBH. Can we show some willing? Boosts welcome for wide community input. Just finished reading Amanda Perino’s wrap up of the first year of the #RailsFoundation. It really sounds like with a few years of hard work and money they can replicate all the things @rubycentral has already built over the years. I’m profoundly sad by the waste of it all. Today is the first time in my 20 years as a professional #ruby developer that I’ve wanted to just say fuck it and find a different language.
