'It Is Finished' - Jesus

We finally uploaded the last version of our #Doom WAD (and took it out of WIP) for this years #RAMP2026. Have to say, it was very fun to do things like we did waaay back when... but we are now glad it is over and we can learn all the hot newness that powers the magic in today's boomer-shooters. We hope people enjoy playing it. πŸ’š πŸ’Ύ

I am hoping that Sword Dancer, my #RAMP2026 map, will be complete tomorrow. Got some final detailing to do and a couple of bugs to try and fix and then i should have a final candidate uploaded for people to play with

Cutting out a sizeable portion of my #RAMP2026 map and instead diverting time to flesh out early sections of the map and make a nice epilogue room.

I might make a 'complete' version of the map after RAMP though

Culmination of my #RAMP2026 work today. I've done a lot! Made three custom enemies, sprited them, set up all their behaviour, and in the process of doing so, made a melee enemy that you can parry!

I think i can actually populate my map now. My real map...

The garden for my #RAMP2026 map is basically complete now (barring some statues ill make soon), and very very pretty.
Today in Freya's #RAMP2026 adventures: I got the guard state of my sword to work, made it require stamina to be able to guard, and set up a dummy item that slowly restores your stamina when you arent guarding. This doesnt show off high health damage boosting but that also still works.

spent like, 4 hours today getting automatic stance switching to work. You do really powerful, and faster strikes when at full health, otherwise, your attacks are slower and weaker but steal health.

Just... just woke from sleeping where we were dreaming about linedef specifications. We blame (in the best way possible) @freyatail πŸ’š The worst part, knowing all the work we did was in the dream and not actually in our #RAMP2026 level. *Opens editor*
Some shots from our hopeful #RAMP2026 submission. Heck a UDMF, if vanilla #Doom was good enough for us in the 90s it is good enough now! Because Mini is both stubborn (the tools we are using currently only do vanilla) AND doing it like this is part of the WADs narrative! It will be a future Mini problem to convert later to upload… why do we do this to ourselves…
Massive #RAMP2026 progress today. i set up the custompunch command, allowing me to have customised values for the sword attacks, i got fraction based lifesteal to work and made a thing so that you can choose to do one swing if you single click, but if you hold attack you do back and forth swings
