In contrast, #Portworx is a truly cloud-native storage software layer and has taken off with the #DevOps crowd. Many are using it for rapid data recovery too, and Portworx Data Services allows on-demand deployment of database as a service.

It’s a good thing Pure has allowed Portworx autonomy to establish a new market in storage for next generation cloud native apps without tying it too closely with the company’s datacenter products. Most DevOps people know Portworx not Pure. #PureAccelerate

#PureStorage Cloud Block Store is really a hybrid cloud offering and is most compelling for DR and cloud bursting. It’s available in AWS and Azure but not yet other clouds. It’s based on Purity OS like FlashArray.
