I have gripes about the Department of Infectious Diseases DLC for #ProjectHospital.
Most complain that the outbreak mechanic is frustrating. I've noticed that it makes rare diseases ridiculously commonplace.
But really my biggest gripe is that it added influenza A, which is a separate diagnosis from influenza B and requires a lab test which takes time to differentiate.
If I'm diagnosing a patient with seasonal flu, is it really necessary to find out which particular flu virus they have, particularly with such primitive technology? (The DLC was released Aug 2020.) Will it make any difference whatsoever in their outcome?
