Today's charity shop bargain: the Yamashiba YA-12 keyboard. It uses a MC-9003A FM chip which I am told is identical to the Yamaha YM2413 used in the SHS-10 keytar or "sholkey".
A few buttons on the interface don't work, meaning that I haven't been able to investigate the treasures of its rhythm presets, but I think you have to agree that it is a highly charismatic looking machine that screams Professional Quality.
