I updated my blog post on #Camera2API . This is extremely important if you want to use pro videography/photography apps (like #FilmicPro #mcpro24fps or #ProTake ) on your #android device because it gives these apps access to manual controls like shutter speed & ISO. Years ago, only a few Android phones got a full implementation, nowadays almost every device has it. Back in 2021, I TA'd a Video Production class virtually, and one of my tasks was to find mobile camera apps for students who didn't have camera-cameras at home.
Back then, I was demo'ing:
#FilmicPro (the legacy, one-time payment version, shortly before they, you know... π)
This week, in addition to #BlackmagicCamera, I also discovered/tried #mcpro24fps and #MotionCam.
