De Winton’s #GoldenMole, a blind mole that lives beneath the sand, seen here on #PortNolloth beach in South Africa. The last reported sighting of one was in 1937. .. known for ‘swimming’ beneath the sand, on the beaches around the small port town. Their habitat is under threat from #DiamondMining
