I'm flying out to the Corporate Mothership in a few weeks so today was a quick clothes-shoping trip with an unfortunate diversion to Half-Price Books. I picked up a replacement copy of UNIX Power Tools; I gave my copy to a coworker when I left sysadminnery. It's still a decent resource and I'm sure some of my current coworkers could make good use of it. I found another book on LaTeX and another archaic book on human factors. This one is much less trippy than the last one; it's a revision of a book from 1963 that has some sort of seal of approval from the US Army, Navy, and Air Force. Good for arranging aircraft instrumentation as well as minimum tunnel dimensions that seem to be straight out of The Great Escape. #PoorImpulseControl

I may or may not have realized I can make a living room karaoke setup with a small, cheap mixer and mic by adding it onto my existing AV receiver, and then may or may not have immediately acted upon that realization. And then had a lunchtime karaoke session by myself.
