I'm listening to Slate's #PoliticalGabfest and right after criticizing #RFKjr for being antivax etc, they run a promo for a new show. It's about the opioid crisis, and it mentions how Purdue's claims that oxycontin was safe and not addictive were bullshit. That over two decades, half a million have died from opioid overdoses. #RFKjr just talked about that on #JRE. This kind of thing drives his view of the world, and that of many others. It sucks but they have their reasons to distrust experts.

Does anyone else listen to Slate's #PoliticalGabfest? I think John Dickerson from CBS called the host David Plotz a fuckface and they didn't edit it. Kinda awesome.
