Tonight’s democracy bar with #SwissAIweeks on „AI in Games and Pop Culture - a reality check?“ at the #PolitForumBern was a decadent ramble through historic trends and moral viewpoints.

Plenty of well known and surprising references came from both the audience, experts and „bartenders“ Arno Görgen & Eugen Pfister (both faculty of the Bern School of Art)

We have an opportunity to both indulge our senses, and to express ourselves in ways AI technologies uniquely support. Video games have created a virtual body language that should be a part of our democratic and resilient communication space. My conclusion: games are a perfect pop medium to pick up and enlighten us through these momentous times.
