On the heels of #Netflix announcing we can no longer cast to TVs from our phone apps, #Plex writes to remind me that soon the Plex app on #Roku will be as limited for remote streaming as the phone app, and to do it the server owner must pay for a #PlexPass. I mean, I already have one, for life, but goddamn, they're really taking it all away and selling it back to us.
Anybody remember when Plex was just XBox Media Center ( #xbmc )? How soon until #Jellyfin suffers the same fate?
