Up until yesterday I had only one album by Inigo Kennedy; his 2014 album "Vaudeville". As I have an extensive digital collection, I have not heard everything, my collection got started by my monkeh-in-law, who gifted me his entire digital collection after my external drive had zoinked.
So I still have pockets of VBR ripped files, which Vaudeville was, so I probably got it from him.

Towa Tei is one of my first electronic loves and Miles Davis' Générique from the Ascenseur Pour L'Echafaud soundtrack one of my first jazz loves.

#PlayOfToday Gloria Scott / What Am I Gonna Do (1974)

This portrait is so starkly honest, it always grabs me.
Gloria is a singer whom's voice has been a muse to people like Sly Stone, Ike Turner and Barry White.
And up until 2022 this was her only album, a much desired and collected Casablanca record, as it's lush and a pearl in soul genre.

I remember browsing the bookstall on Cambridge market square, about 6 or 7 years ago; I was still traveling to and fro between Cambridge and Amsterdam in those days.

And the owner was playing some jazz that sounded really, really good. Music lover that I am, I asked who was playing. It was Tabled And Chairs by The Kevin Figes Quartet.
So I went to Bandcamp and got myself a copy. Fan ever since.

This is Weather Warning, from the album with the same title.
