I'll cap this off by saying that #Pizzolatto had 1 good season of #tv in him (though overrated and misunderstood imho).
Season 2 was an absolute pile of horseshit. Season 3 was ok, but just ok.
This guy does decent to great dialogue and can write great characters. But when it comes to plotting an entire season of TV he just can't get it together.
This is where I think S4 pales a bit in comparison. The dialogue is... not great at times. Like, noticeably so.
