well, for the life of me I can't get the Perses container to talk to Prometheus. Container networking all looks fine, just times out with a Network Error when I add the Prometheus datasource.

Going to convert the lab to CML from containerlab as I need to work out how this deployment would work on "real VMs" anyway. Time spent troubleshooting in Docker would be better spent automating that.

moved the containerlab on to including Prometheus with OTEL Endpoint enabled and just dropped in Perses

Found the Perses documentation very sparse so would like to post this magnificent resource with huge thanks to the author @ericschabell
