MedI do love the idea of Qi Rong managing to somehow still adopt a fair amount of kids while he's Pei Ming's "deputy general" (situationship life partner). Qi Rong finds Guzi and brings him up and says, in no uncertain terms, "this one's mine now lol" and Pei Ming, not doing most the child rearing, is like "oh okay I guess" and Guzi mostly gets to run wild
Today's assembly amongst martial gods was boring. Pei Ming ended up staring into space for most of it.
"... And for our final topic to be covered today: Qi Rong, Pei Ming's deputy god." Mu Qing, the one forced to run the assembly, said pointedly.
His ears perked up, and he sat up. Nearly everyone glared at him.
"What did he do this time?" Pei Ming's voice held no annoyance, only amusement and curiosity.
