This amounted to 'anti-Israeli comments' (Google and two other Big Tech entities) threatened to pull out of a tech conference because of the tweet.

Cosgrave apologised and resigned.

Didnt see the full tweet, but if the tweet was about how there shouldnt be violence towards civilians, incl Palestinians, I dont know why Cosgrave gave in.
