We saw PNB’s Giselle at McCaw Hall last night April 11. Brilliant, virtuosic dancing not only by principals, but the entire corps on point and leaping, jumping in that turn of 18th-19th C style of ballet choreography to Adolph Adam. No wonder dancers love it. It’s a dancer’s ballet. All I could wish for is an East Asian ghost drama set and costumes in the second act, when the music turns to minor keys. Streaming available.

Experience Giselle, the ultimate love story of betrayal and vengeful ghosts. Peter Boal's stunning production features sumptuous designs by Jérôme Kaplan.

Pacific Northwest Ballet

Check out these PNB articles with pictures of the visual designs of the company’s latest production, Sleeping Beauty. We recently watched the streaming, which PNB can offer worldwide for performances. Preston Singletary designs, mousepuppets fairytale wedding guests, beautiful costumes. I can’t believe there are only a couple of indifferent reviews. We were spellbound.
