I was worried about being overlevelled but I wasn't, she wasn't doing as much damage as Reaper but neither was I. Hassou Tobi has to be mis-labelled because in-game is says it does "medium" damage but it does more damage than some of the Severe attacks and has 100% accuracy. So I didn't get to play with the highest level demons as usual oh well. :/

It scratched that dungeon crawling itch I had and had cute character designs and new music so I'm satisfied. #PQ2

I beat the final boss very, very slowly and I'm not even sure I understood her mechanic aside from switching between ice mode/fire mode and staff mode/sword mode. I didn't have all the element in my party and ran out of SP relatively early. Navi team, despite refilling my SP bar like 5 times in each of the previous miniboss battles, only refilled my SP when she was already down to like 5% HP. 🙄 #PQ2

Yeah the ending got me. I don't think the story was amazingly deep or anything but it was touching. I was happy about the way it ended up.

116hrs and level 84 on the final save file. #PQ2

I am now broke again so if I want to do any more fusions I'll have to grind for cash. So I think I'll beat the game and then see if there's a post-game boss as I think there is and then do fusions then if I feel like it. I'd rather beat the game than get hung up on completing the Compendium at 115hrs on the save file. #PQ2

Defeated the Reaper on my third or fourth try, can't remember. Went with the Max Crits team of P4+Aragaki+Chie and Yukiko+Yukari. Yoshitsune's Hassou Tobi was nice to have. Only just barely made it though, only P4 and Chie were alive when we beat it. Very much a DPS race when it starts using Mind Charge and Megadolaon every turn. In retrospect I should have gone for Debilitate over binds, the binds don't stick. But definitely the hardest fight in the game (so far). #PQ2

Cleaned up that second FOE and took a look at the Reaper. Got him down to about 70% but he's noticeably stronger than the FOEs on these floors and will require a bit more planning. Also no weaknesses so SP usage is a problem for the back line. Made it up to level 82 without really trying so need to catch up with my fusions. I don't think I'm going to get 100% Compendium on this run just from lack of patience. And I nearly always start new games fresh when I replay them. #PQ2

Made some progress on finally beating this game. Sort of. Did Ticket #41 the actual last ticket for a music box. Then did some fusions. Then went and killed the FOE on FL 4 that mirrors your movements. That unlocks all of the ultimate armor sets and Beezelbub. Then I'll need to kill the FOE on FL 1 which hopefully will drop the item for unlocking the ultimate weapons. Then Reaper, then final boss. Level 80 currently and about 110hrs played. #PQ2

Did some more cleanup. Finally found the 41st extra ticket, walked in circles for a while to trigger a golden enemy in Film 4 for a drop item, and beat a lumberjack FOE. So what's left is to actually do ticket 41, the two FOEs in Film 5, and the Reaper. Level 80 now and did a few fusions to catch up. Yoshitsune and Mahakala are well suited to the max crit team but I need to see what other skills they might need. Still have the goal as level 82 with my lovely lady Alilat. #PQ2
