Grand opening of Polk County Fire Rescue’s new Eaton Park Station!

#PCFR Station 35 will serve the Eaton Park community and support Saddle Creek Fire Station 39 and Highland City Fire Station 28. It will house one engine company, one ambulance and our Special Operations heavy rescue apparatus.

Structure fire reported in Mulberry

At 5:50 p.m. on Jan. 10, #PCFR responded to a structure fire reported in Mulberry. Crews arrived to find a fully engulfed building with a partial roof collapse and quickly worked to extinguish the flames protecting nearby structures. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Thankfully, there were no injuries or patients transported.

Every child deserves a new toy during the holiday season!

Polk County Fire Rescue tries to make it a possibility through our annual Toys for Tots donation. Each year we stuff an ambulance full of toys donated by our #PCFR members and drive it over to the local Toys for Tots warehouse the day after our Holiday Service Awards Banquet. Polk County Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire off Regel Loop in Mulberry

#PCFR crews’ initial tone was for a structure fire at 4:34 p.m. Upon the arrival of the first crew less than a minute later, they noted that it was a brush fire with multiple threatened structures. Crews worked quickly to temporarily evacuate the occupants of six residences in the path of the fire while others got water on the fire at 4:39 p.m.
