I brought this across from the Dark Side because this is something about which I am deeply concerned. There used to be a spatial limit for trawling the seabed in the UK - it was not permitted within three miles of the shore. Since that limit was removed in 1984, great harm has been done to the seas around Scotland and rUK; and this has reduced marine biodiversity. There are also climatic consequences...
