Update on the #mouse adventure: we have no more mice. We cut back some plants that were abutting the house, stopped leaving the sliding door cracked (duh), and sealed up a single hole in the basement.

This is in stark contrast to the premonitions of the #Orkin sales guy who practically gave my wife a panic attack after identifying EVERY SINGLE PART OF OUR HOUSE as a deadly place of mouse/plague ingress unless we spent over $2500 to bring them in to save us.
