#OldEnoughToRemember the excitement of looking forward to one day of the week, usually Thursday, and going to newsagent for latest weekly #comic. Most were printed on cheap newspaper and gaudy colours, but with cartoons, short story, puzzles and an on-going serial graphic story. All for sixpence or maybe even thrupence.
Started w Beano & Dandy, then the supersized Eagle came along, with Dan Dare and the arch villain with a huge green head, the Mekon.
Anyone else remember these? We're talking 50's and 60's here.
