Mmm. Office Kitty has taken to using Lego left lying by children on the wooden floor outside our bedroom to wake my other half at ridiculous o'clock. Apparently at about 4am she walked on Lego, picked it up with her teeth and dropped it and made lots of Lego sounds.
It worked. My partner got up, fed her, and let her outside.
So we have evidence that our Office Kitty has evolved to using tools. Will this excite scientists as much as Veronikia the Cow using a broom to scratch herself? https://www.theguardian.com/science/2026/jan/19/back-scratching-cow-veronika-bovine-intelligence
Office Kitty is the office manager so perhaps it is not surprising that she needs a set of professional tools.
My weekend job is to go around the house and pick up all the bits of Lego lying around. Five year old boy has been breaking my models to make 'rubbish' for his garbage truck. There is a lot of 'rubbish' lying around.
