@cloudedjudge Thanks. This is an absolute budget build. My first new mountain bike since 30 years. I just wanted to have something modern, with 120mm fork, 66 degree steerer angle and boost. Frame is #OctaneOne Prone, which I got for 170€. 180€ Himalo fork. #LTWOO A7 with #Microshift AdventX cassette. Might be upgraded to AdventX V2 derailleur, when they are widely available.
It's #WheelBuildingWednesday . Budget wheelset for my wife's current project #OctaneOne Kode. Novatec hubs (60€/set) and Syncros branded Alex rims (13€/pc). For such a Setup, #GravelKing semi (40€/pc) look expensive, but they are round!

Today a steel frame arrived. Nothing too exotic, just #7anna #OctaneOne Kode. This time made in Taiwan. The #Prone was made in Poland, which basically means manufactured in China and finished (riveted and painted) in Poland.
Really cool fish scale glitter paint with pink, blue, golden and silver chips. I hope, my wife will love this bike, it'll be first new bike since 2005.
