Ended the week and welcomed the week with Cool Cool Water by A Small Good Thing, released on Soleilmoon Recordings in 1996.

Review by AllMusic

Andrew Hulme is well known as one of the guiding forces behind the esoteric O Yuki Conjugate, purveyors of fine fourth-world ambience. His A Small, Good Thing project is a different kind of ambient animal: rather than plumb the depths of primordialism and antediluvian sound forests, Hulme and his various cohorts suggest a Southwestern desert ambience where the isolationist forces at work prey on the imagination...

Ended the weekend and welcomed the week after a walk with Slim Westerns by A Small, Good Thing, released on Soleilmoon Recordings in 1994.

First released in 1994, SLIM WESTERNS was A Small Good Thing's debut album, on the US Soleilmoon label. It took the genre of ambient and applied it to the big western landscape, inspired by an imaginary idea of America as found in films and fiction; from Wiseblood to Blood Simple, Flannery O'Connor to Cormac McCarthy.

A Final Image Nocturnal Broadcast. A long lost ambient clasic.

A Small Good Thing were Andrew Hulme (OYC), Tom Fazzini & Mark Sedgwick (Purr). They released five albums in the 90s book ended by Slim Westerns volumes 1 and 2 (on Soleilmoon and Leaf respectively).
