The other one, kinda: #Nospūn and Opus. Now, the band hasn't released a new album since, and I don't know if they're planning to, since Opus is their debut they've worked on for 7 years. But I can't help but be certain that a successor can only disappoint, since Opus just ticks all the boxes for me.

I won't do a top 5 for #MetalheadConcerts #COTY2025, BUT: I was having a hard time choosing between two events. I'll give second place to the #ProgMetal evening with #Voidchaser, #Soulsplitter, and #Nospūn at #BambiGalore. It was an amazing and unforgettable evening, but it took three bands 😅
Top spot for me this year: #ZealAndArdor at #GruenspanHamburg.
Top venue, of course, as always: #LogoHamburg. That's not likely to change anytime soon for me, either.

I said of that concert evening at #BambiGalore a few days ago that #VoidChaser and #Soulsplitter were my favourites, but #Nospūn and their debut (!) album Opus are the ones I keep coming back to. The album is so fascinating and intriguing. It's a totally epic #ProgMetal concept album that I'm trying to "get", even though I don't get the meanings of albums, most of the time, and I'm fine with that, most of the time.

Ich hab übrigens *vergessen*, im #BambiGalore an der Bar nach den Band-Sammelkarten zu fragen. Das ärgert mich schon sehr.
Zu guter Letzt: #Nospun. Fand ich nicht ganz so gut wie die anderen beiden Bands. Die Musik hatte einige kurze Math'y Passagen, bei denen ich nicht kapiert hab, was gerade passiert.
Album habe ich trotzdem eins mitgenommen, ich glaube da lohnt sich ein konzentriertes Durchhören.
