I do not love this bill. But I do appreciate the vindication that the soft shots were the fault of the lens, and not me. I really do love this FX lens on my D7200 DX body. Though I suppose it’s still on me for waiting FOREVER to blame the lens and send it in for service.
Tonight I’m sending my beloved Nikon 28-300 in for service. For over a year photos from this lens (my default lens) have been soft and I just assumed it was my fault.
Problem is, I can still get nice sharp photos via other lenses. Don’t be in an abusive relationship with your #photography equipment. It works for you, not the other way around.
