Camille Bacon-SmithBack from BalletX opening night of Sidd: A Hero's Journey, Nicolo Fonte's new full-length ballet based on the Herman Hesse novel. It was amazing, but kind of overwhelming. I need to go back and see it again to let it sink in. Sometimes Fonte's work is like that--it kind of sinks in with repeat viewings. So much to think about. The Ferryman's dance at the very beginning was gorgeous.
