I remember how hard it was to change from an avatar with Arwen to one of Koa... I felt like I was dismissing her, exchanging her for someone new. And while there is a new pup in my life, Koa could never replace Arwen...
But, Arwen left a huge paw-shaped hole in my heart when she passed away, and now Koa is patching up that hole with his own paw... It will never be a perfect fit, but it will stop most of the hole from being a gaping wound...
Time is healing, or so they say... But, having Koa in my life is definitely helping me as well.
