Recovery of an MMO Junkie Invades Japanese Convenience Store | MANGA.TOKYO
If you have watched the first episode of Recovery of an MMO Junkie, you might remember the cute scene in the convenience store. This convenience store is actually modelled after a real store in Tokyo, and that store celebrated the anime start with an event! On 15 October, the voice actor of Hayashi (VA: Ryota Suzuki) and Lilac (VA: Yuka Aisaka) were working at the Lawson store Nukui, Kitamachi, Koganei, Yokyo 5-18-23 in Tokyo for a whole day. Both of them fit the Lawson uniform very well. At the store, it was also possible to buy merchandise and if you bought something, you would be guaranteed a special postcard as a present which would be handed to you by the voice actors. This gave fans a great opportunity to meet their favorite voice actors directly and face to face. Even the rainy weather couldn't keep them from lining up outside the store. She makes all her friends online and tries to cope with her worries as she takes small steps towards real change. Impressions Thanasis No Sword Art Online here, ladies and gentlemen. No silly gear and overpowered characters. No life-threatening situations and no evil masterminds behind the MMO. This is as real to an MMO game we can get, albeit with the unrealistic way the characters interact in-game (nothing to do about that, this is an anime after all). Recovery of an MMO Junkie may well be the most realistic anime about MMO games I have seen so far. The protagonist, Momoka Moriko, is a 30-years-old office dropout who decides to follow the NEET life.
