We are enjoying watching #NZvIndia at the #wwcc2023 One Day World Cup. I reckon it is the #cricket authorities under-mining this format. It is great that it is on free to air TV. In recent years they have killed the interest and news of it by putting the broadcast of one-day games behind a paywall.

I think the one-day format helped improve cricket skills generally whereas I can't see that 20/20 cricket has helped add skills to the game. In fact I reckon that 20/20 has contributed to the deterioration of skills and is behind the impatient batting that is the cause of batsmen getting out prematurely.
