Another day, another cover image… Possibly the best musician in Sweden, mr. Nils Landgren, here with his Funk Unit. They recently celebrated 30 years, and I was there for one of the gigs (as usual). A great live band that I make an effort to never miss when in town, but also fun to put on the stereo whenever you need a little pick-me-up.

Going to see Nils Landgren Funk Unit at #Fasching jazz club in Stockholm this evening - SO looking forward to that! In preparation, I’m playing their most recent album. 30 years they've been honing their craft, and they were already pretty darn great from the get-go.

Their best release since “License to Funk" from 2007 IMO.
