One thing younger people don't realize, in the 90's early 2000's people were apparently missing their flights all the time. In just one episode of #NBCER two different, in fact, three different characters missed their flight within 125 seconds of that episode, now try to apply this to the US as a whole... No wonder airlines came up with #overbooking.
