Had a #tattoo consultation today, it started with "I just want to turn this cross into an ankh so I feel better about this tattoo I don't like anymore" and ended with me scheduled in for my first-of-two (hopefully, could be 3 I suppose if I'm a wuss) 5 hour tattoo sessions to get my entire left arm tattoo covered up.
From #Catholic #guilt to #Kemetic happiness, woo!
40s is definitely my decade. Gender is fixed (last year), Name change is in progress this year, hair is chopped off, tattoo fixing scheduled, I've got momentum at least. #myyear #letsdothis
The more we gravitated toward a cover-up, the more excited the tattoo artist got, I love it 🤣 He was very careful not to steer me toward it and he let that be my choice which I appreciate, followed my queues but gave me a lot of big openings to express in case I wanted more than I was asking for (and I did, I was just afraid to ask for it at first, they really gave me the space to get there).
