Blocked ali525-q.hf.space because of a spam wave with fake mutual aid posts. Monitoring hf.space to see if I want to block the whole domain instead of just this one subdomain.

This appeared to be the 47th upgrade of Mastodon on mountains.social since installing in Nov 2022.

At 12:00 CET I will update mountains.social to version 4.5.7 that got released yesterday.

At the same time I'm going to reboot all systems (also mountains.photos) to activate OS patches. Therefore you might notice a few hiccups.

Have checked the impact of the price increase of the hosting at Hetzner. See the link to their reasoning which I fully understand.

The monthly costs will go up from EUR 37.77 to EUR 47.66 (an increase of EUR 9.89 or 26%).
We are in the lucky situation that our finances are sound, but of course this is not a positive impact.

Was early to it. Upgrade of mountains.photos has been done.
In the upcoming days I will try to find time to test account migration to see if it is really solved.

Tonight at 20:30 CET I will upgrade our Pixelfed 
instance mountains.photos to version 0.12.7, which includes an important security patch.
It should also include a fix for the long-and-old account migration issue, that broke the account that was attempting the migration. I will however first test if the issue is indeed fixed, before I can confirm that one could indeed migrate when desired.
