A sneaky heating pad thief who also wants to steal snacks that are Not For Kitties. You may be thinking, “but Kathleen, he is only giving the ladyfingers some gentle sniffs, how could you possibly accuse him of intent to commit pastry crimes?” And I have no response for that, except to say that I did not get a picture of him putting his little paws into the dish, because I was too busy trying to keep him from putting his little paws into the dish.

Monkey likes to play Snakes, a game that involves me or Kyle hiding Khaki Snake (a lace from old cargo pants) & Zip Tie Snake (leftover from building a kit to take down wt supremacist propaganda around town) under his playmat (a stolen christofacist banner), & he hunts them. We’ll play for up to an hour at a time before he gets tired or bored. I love watching the little gears turn in his head while he tries to figure out where the snakes are. #MonkeyTheCat #CatsOfMastodon #Cats #WhiskersWednesdy
I just really need you all to know that usually, Monkey jumps up for morning lap time while we read the news. But today he he did not stop at the lap. No no, today he crawled up onto my partner’s chest and demanded to be held like a baby.
And a bonus, cake is definitely for kitties.
