Be a spendthrift on cops and a miser everywhere else. Deliver for your big donors early. Court the corporate media. Smear any that won't play ball. Pick a scapegoat whose vote you've already lost or were never going to win. Attack them verbally. Attack them legislatively. Attack them physically. Brazen it out. Without shame or remorse.

Double and triple down. Lie and lie about your lies. Lie till you believe it. Lie till they start to believe it or get bored of chasing the truth. Accuse your opponents of what you are about to do or know you have already done thus far in secret. Sideline the judiciary. Never let a crisis go to waste. Beatify your martyrs. Declare emergency powers. Focus on force not consent. Praise police. Celebrate 'good' violence as the only defence against the terror of the scapegoat's violence. If the scapegoat isn't violent, keep provoking till they are. Or simply accuse them of being so repeatedly. Align yourself with a fascistic, genocidal regime and do so without equivocation or hesitation. Claim the moral high ground as you do so. Demonise protest. Exploit the free publicity of scandal. Ride your opponent's outrage.
