Today's #PhotoOfTheDay is from inside the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba and is of Al-Hakam II's stunning mihrab.
An absolutely stunning building, and a bit bonkers to have a cathedral built in the centre of a mosque that was originally built on the site of a church but that means we get to appreciate the skills of the Byzantine and local craftsmen, and especially the mosaic makers.
